‘Cam’ had many careers over the years, including serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force in England and North Africa, working for the Federal Government as a Agriculture Rep, teaching for many years for the Kinistino School Unit, and of course, running Wright’s Greenhouse from 1987-2004.

He helped start many of the 4-H clubs in NE Saskatchewan, and was significantly active in the Beatty 4-H club for many years.  Cam was also instrumental in founding the Saskatchewan Greenhouse Grower’s Association of which he was a Life Member, and of which son Tom and granddaughter Angie have also been contributors in recent years.

Between Kinistino and Melfort, Cam was a common sight on the highway – waving at every car he passed in his familiar red Dodge truck; never going faster than 75kmph, but always curteously pulling to the shoulder to let drivers pass him.

A funeral/memorial service will be held for Cam at the Beatty Hall on Friday, March 26th, 2010 at 2pm.  Visitors are welcome; please come and share your memories of Cam.
